Steve J. Betzelos, D.D.S.
Born June 11, 1958 Dr. Betzelos was raised in NW Chicago. He now resides in the Dekalb area with his wife Dena and 3 children Jimmy, Priscilla and Gregory.

Dr. Betzelos attended Loyola University attaining a B.S. in Biology in 1980 and then graduated from Loyola Dental School receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1984.

From 1984 to 1992 Dr. Betzelos was an associate in Glenview, Illinois.
He moved to Dekalb in 1992 to take over a struggling solo/corporate dental practice. He soon became a partner and then sole owner and CEO of Dental Health Associates of Illinois that encompassed over twenty practices statewide. Dental Health Associates of Illinois was the primary downstate dental provider for the State of Illinois employee’s. During this time period he simultaneously passed his dental board exams and became licensed in Indiana, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan and Nevada along with constant continuing education courses.
 
Dr. Betzelos has managed and taught over 200 employees, which includes dentists, hygienists, dental assistants and business assistants. His number one objective has always been placing the patient of the practice first.

After selling these practices in July of 2004 Dr. Betzelos wishes to settle back to solo practice in Rosemont, Illinois. After 20 years of practicing all facets of dentistry The Dental Group of Rosemont will diagnose ideal treatment with the latest technology known to the dental community along with Intra-oral cameras. The Intra-oral camera is a great educational tool for the patient because it allows the patient to see exactly what the dentist sees.
